The Global Reinsurance segment markets reinsurance products worldwide under the Chubb Tempest Re brand name and provides solutions for small to mid-sized clients and multinational ceding companies. The Overseas General Insurance segment comprises Chubb International and Chubb Global Markets. The Life Insurance segment comprises Chubb's international life operations, Chubb Tempest Life Re, and the North American supplemental A&H and life business of Combined Insurance. The company was founded on January 14, 2016 and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
